·  Focus studies with Medical Personnel and Deaf Patients

The VI Module’s design compliments the technology and equipment already found in hospitals, and familiar to medical staff. There is no intimidation using the  VI Module because you already use similar equipment.  It has also received high praise from the Deaf Community for the intuitive design and thoughtful methods of accommodating their needs.

·   Designed by an Interpreter

Interpreters know how to stay out of your way while placing themselves to be visually accessible to the Deaf patient. We’ve designed the VI Module with that in mind. This is not a cumbersome unit. Its sleek, compact design stays out of your way and allows you to be completely available to your patient.

· Easy to use interface software

We chose a software that was easy to use and maintenance free.

· Software built for PC’s instead of video phones

Many other systems use video phone software on computer equipment. This does not work efficiently. Software designed to work with the video phone’s component chips are not able to work at full capacity on a PC.

 · Cameras have privacy screens

This allows the Deaf patient to be examined privately. The patient can see the interpreter, but with the screen down, the interpreter cannot see the patient.

· TRUE Mobility

Most systems on the market require an Ethernet port and/or power outlet. The VI Module is the ultimate mobile wireless VRI system.
